Validating TD Terms and Entries

WorldServer allows you to use separate validation workflows for terms and entries in a terminology database (TD).

You set up validation workflows on the Tools > Term Databases > Term Database: <TD> page. If the validation mode of your terminology database is set to Normal or Strict, a Validate button appears on the page.

A terminology database has a validation mode assigned upon creation. The validation mode governs the way in which WorldServer handles additions or modification of term entries and terms in a terminology database. There are three possible options:

By default, WorldServer validates terms in the validation workflow. You can optionally chose to validate entries. See the separate topics describing the validation workflows for terms and entries.
