You can modify only the name and description for a scoping configuration, but not ranges.
Scoping configurations are tightly coupled with cost models and projects, so any changes to ranges would affect cost models and projects significantly. As such, to change a scoping configuration for a project, create a new scoping configuration with different ranges and a new cost model, then apply the new scoping configuration and cost model to the project. If you change which scoping configuration is designated as the default configuration, you must do so carefully. Changing the scoping configuration may render the scoping information for active projects unusable. Changing a scoping configuration will impact many areas of WorldServer, such as ad hoc scoping, cost models, and so on.
