WorldServer entry forms allow inputting and editing of content with the aid of an HTML form, which can have controls, such as WYSIWYG editing for validating input, previewing content, and providing instruction. In addition, entry forms are a powerful means for system administrators to integrate content creation, editing, and validation with any of their existing systems.
To enter a new entry form, click Add and fill out the parameters. The name will be used to identify the Entry Form throughout WorldServer (and what will appear in the AIS properties). The description is purely for the user's benefit and won't be used by WorldServer. The URL defines the location of the Entry Form and will be what WorldServer calls when a user edits an asset in a folder that has been assigned to the given Entry Form.
It should end with either a "?" or a "&" and the domain should match the one specified in the Entry Form code. If the Entry Form code uses the full domain (for example, http://myservername.company.com), the Entry Form custom component should as well.
After the new Entry Form has been added, associate it with assets by selecting it in the Entry Form AIS property Entry Form for the parent folder of the asset. This may be done at .
