Checking in an asset

With a version control connector mounted and configured, you can check in assets from the WorldServer Explorer. In addition to comments supplied by the user, WorldServer automatically inserts system comments with each checkin for user tracking purposes.

1. In the WorldServer Explorer, select the asset or assets to check in.
2. Choose Versioning > Check In.
3. Optionally, add comments.
4. Optionally, choose how to handle identical files:
   • The default setting, Undo Checkout, undoes the checkout for each identical file.
   • Select Check In to check in files, even if they are identical.
   • Select Leave Checked Out to cause identical files to remain checked out.
5. Click OK.
