To use a MultiTerm termbase, you specify a connection to a particular MultiTerm server and termbase, and optionally any filters you wish to use.
-
Navigate to
.
-
Click
Connect. The
Connect to SDL MultiTerm Termbase page appears.
-
Select the server you want from the dropdown menu. A termbase dropdown appears.
-
Select the termbase you want.
-
A list of the Languages included in the termbase appears.
-
Make sure you have a matching WorldServer language and locale for those MultiTerm Languages you plan to use.
Red warning icons and messages point out those languages where you need to adjust the WorldServer match. Once you configure the match, the warning for that language disappears.
Note: If you do not plan to use a MultiTerm language, you don't need to find a WorldServer match for it.
-
If you want to use a MultiTerm filter, select
Pick Filter. A list of radio buttons of all available filter selections and their descriptions appear on the dialog.
Note: Because WorldServer users only have read-only access to termbases, you will not be able to configure termbase filters from this page.
-
Click
Save.
You are redirected to the TD Edit page, showing the filter options on the General tab.
