Available options are:

Process documents with changes tracking
Usually you do not want to process documents that have tracked changes, because both original and new text is extracted for translation, which is probably not desirable. The problem does not arise if the document does not have tracked changes (even if tracked changes are enabled). The action by default is to process a file containing tracking changes.
Process kerning and tracking
Kerning and tracking information applied to source text is usually too closely aligned to the source language text layout to be useful for the translated text, so usually you should not process these tags.

If you do process these tags, then kerning tags are represented by <k...> tags , and tracking tags by <t...> tags.

Note: Even if you choose to skip them, where those tags are combined with other tags, the information is represented in tags in the target document.
Extract discretionary line breaks
A discretionary line break allows a word break at the end of a line without inserting a hyphen. The position of such breaks is language dependent, so you should usually not extract them.
Extract hidden and locked layers
You can extract both hidden and locked layers for translation or skip them both.
Extract cross reference formats
Extract cross reference formatting for translation or skip it.
Extract content of the master page
Master pages are one type of FrameMaker page, along with reference and body pages. You can include in the translation or ignore.
Process hidden conditional text content
Hidden conditional text is conditional text that is not exposed in the source document. If processed or extracted, the text is extracted as the subsequent segment. If not processed (not extracted), the text is included as an inline tag.
Extract file information:
Options are:
Do not extract file information
No document metadata is extracted for translation.
Extract file description only
Only the text available in the Description tab of the document is extracted for translation.
Extract all file information
The text from all the free-text fields available in the document metadata is extracted for translation. Number-text fields, read-only fields and values from drop-down menus are not extracted. The only drop-down menu values extracted are the values available in the Content Type drop-down menu from the Mobile SWF tab.
