Monitoring steps in a single project

The Task List for each project displays information that helps you assess the state of each task. To display the Task List, go to Assignments > Projects and click on an item in the Project Name column.

Using Task List Information

For each step, the columns that can help you monitor the state of a task are:
Column Description
Assigned To
  • Human step = the names or roles of the assignees
  • Automatic step, with more than one workflow queue in the WorldServer environment, and the step is executing = the location and identifier of the workflow engine to which this step is assigned.
  • Automatic step otherwise = blank
Status
  • Human step = an icon.

Click the icon to see a list of possible statuses.

  • Automatic step, currently running = Executing, followed by the amount of elapsed time spent running the task.

For example, Executing [00:02:53] means that the step has been running for 2 minutes, 53 seconds.

  • Automatic step, not started running = In Queue, followed by the step’s position in the queue.

For example, In Queue [15] means that the step is 15th in line, in that particular queue, to run. When the previous 14 steps have run, this step will run.

  • Automatic step, sent to Filter Engine Queue = Pending, followed by the amount of elapsed time spent running the task.

If you click on the link, you will go to the Filter Engine Queue page
