Terminology databases setup

You can set up a native WorldServer Terminology Database, or connect to a MultiTerm term database (also known as a termbase).

Management > Linguistic Tool Setup > Term Databases Setup

A terminology database (sometimes known as a "term database" or "termbase") is an organized record of controlled vocabularies and, optionally, their standard translations.

You can use one or many terminology databases, depending on your environment. See the separate descriptions of how to set up native WorldServer terminology databases (TDs) or set up a WorldServer connection to MultiTerm term databases (termbases). The two types of term databases are identified by different icons on the Term Databases Setup page.
