Quote Approval Process Overview

A quote-approval process relies upon the timely and productive communication between a Client Manager and the client user. The process may involve numerous manual and automatic steps that start with an initial quote request and end with an approved quote, or translation project based on the quote. You select a quote-approval process for a Client from Management > User Setup > Clients in the Add Client or Edit Client pages.

The options are:

Manual also referred to as a manual quote-approval process
Workflow Based also referred to as an automated quote-approval process

Remember: If you have the appropriate WorldServer permissions, you can override a Client's quote-approval process setting for creating individual quotes. To create an individual quote, go to Add > Quotes page.
