Forgotten password procedures

This section describes the procedures administrators must perform to recover forgotten passwords in standard WorldServer TransPort implementations.

To configure the password reset types, the administrator must open the general.properties World Server configuration file and search for the key forgot_password_link.

There are two options described:

Edit the forgot_password_link= so that either of these settings is present.

For example: forgot_password_link=user_reset

Note: If the forgot_password_link is commented out, then the default setting is used.
