User Interface Hooks

Management > Administration > Customization > UI Hooks

User interface hooks allow you to add snippets of HTML-encoded text to WorldServer pages. For example, if you wanted to display additional information above the task list on Task List for Project page, use UIHooks in Management > Administration > Customization to specify a file that contains the desired text and other hook-specific information.

To add a user interface hook

  1. From Management > Administration > Customization, choose UI Hooks from the Custom component type drop-down menu.
  2. Click Add.

    WorldServer displays the Add Custom UI Hooks Component dialog.

  3. Click Browse. Use the Choose file dialog box to navigate your local directory structure and select the ZIP file containing the UI hook.
  4. Click Open.

    The Choose file dialog box closes and the selected file is listed in the Add Custom UI Hooks Component dialog.

  5. Click OK.

    WorldServer returns to the refreshed Customization page.
