Enabling or disabling a user

During the course of a project you may need to disable and re-enable users. In addition, a user may automatically become disabled if Enhanced authentication is in use and the user violates the login rules, for example, by making too many invalid attempts to log on.

Management > User Setup > Users: Enable

Management > User Setup > Users: Disable

  1. To enable a disabled user, on the Management > User Setup > Users page, choose disabled users from the View menu, check the box next to the desired user and click Enable.
  2. To disable a user, on the Management > User Setup > Users page, choose active users from the View menu, check the box next to the desired user and click Disable.
