Modifying a workflow

  1. From the Management > Workflow > Workflows page, click the name of an existing workflow.
    WorldServer launches the Workflow: <name> page, displaying the name and a description of the selected workflow, as well as an image of the workflow itself.
  2. Edit the name and description of the workflow, as desired.
  3. Click Launch Workflow Editor to modify steps and transitions in the workflow.
  4. To modify a specific step or transition, either:
    • Double-click the element.
    • Select the element and press Enter.
    • Select the element, and click Edit > Properties.
    • Select the element and click the Properties icon.
    Make desired changes and click OK.
  5. Cut, copy, paste, delete, or select all elements using items on the Edit menu, or respective icons.
  6. Click Workflow > Save or Save As, or click the Save icon to save the workflow. If prompted, give the workflow a new name.
  7. Select a Workflow Type:
    • Asset Based. (Default) Use this type for most workflows.
    • Term Based. Use this type to create workflows for a term or term-entry validation process.
    • Quote Based. Use this type to create workflows for an automated quote-approval process.
  8. Click the X in the upper right corner of the window or press Alt+F4 to close the Workflow Editor.
  9. Click Save to save all changes.
WorldServer returns to the Management > Workflow > Workflows page.
