Transitions are the connections between workflow steps.
Transisions control the overall progress of the workflow. There is no limit to the number of transitions you can draw going into a step or out of a human step. Each automatic step has a predetermined number of transitions that can go out of it.
Use transitions to give users choices when Human steps are completed. For example, if one user is reviewing a translation, you can give that user the option of returning the task to the translator for corrections, or approve the translation and move the workflow along.
When you draw a transition in the Workflow Editor, WorldServer checks rules and return values and does not allow you to save a workflow if there are errors in transitions between workflow steps. Automatic steps, for example, have a set number of return values. You must draw one transition for each return value from the step. Human steps require text to correlate with the transition.
