Change Project Attributes

When you select a project or task (in More Options > Task Options) and click Change Attributes, the attributes that are defined in Management > Administration > Customization appear in the dialog box, along with the project system attributes that you have defined (for example, Due Date, Cost Model, Client, Project Type, and Quality Model).

Choosing Select All will modify all attributes for all selected projects. Only do this if you want to change all attributes for all projects.

The Change Attributes dialog for a project (Change Project Attributes) differs from that for a task (Change Task Attribute) in that the former lets you change system attributes, whereas the task dialog only lets you change custom attributes.

  1. From Assignments > Projects, choose a project for which to change attributes.
  2. Click Change Attributes.
  3. Modify the attributes as needed and click OK.
Tip: For Due Date, enter the date and time in the format appropriate to your Regional Settings or use the date picker. When the due date passes, and the project is not complete, the due date is displayed as red text in the project list (if the view is configured to display it).
Note: You can change the cost model for the project only to a cost model based on the same scoping configuration of the initial cost model. If the project was created without assigning a cost model, only cost models based on the default scoping configuration are available.

The modified attributes appear in the project or task list, if the view is configured to show them.
