Internal (API) Name

Name of the attribute to be used in the API to retrieve the attribute from the object.

External (UI) Name

The user-friendly description or name of the attribute to be shown to the user wherever an interface is available for attribute editing or presentation.

Optional.
- Hidden – The attribute is never shown in the interface; only the API can access the attribute.
- Read-only – The attribute cannot be changed in the user interface; only the API can change the attribute.
- Required – A value must be entered for the attribute when adding or editing objects.
- Include in Translation Kit – The attribute and associated values are included when assets are exported to a translation kit. (Available only if object type is TM Entry, TD Term/Entry, Project, or Task)

The type of data allowed for the attribute:
- Attachment – One or more files of any type attached to the component.
- Boolean – True or False.
- Comment – Text that will be logged together with the author and date of entry in a historical record.
- Date – A date.
- HTML – Hypertext Markup Language encoded text relevant to the attribute.
- Image – A graphic file associated with the attribute. For example, a .jpg file.
- Integer – Any positive integer.
- Large Text Area – Text of unlimited length.
- List – A list of attribute values. The list can be changed by the user.
- Multi Selector – A set of predefined values from which a user can select more than one of the values.
- Selector – A set of predefined values.
- Text Area – Text in a larger area.
- Text Field – Text in a field.
- URL – A uniform resource locator address and text description.
- User – A WorldServer user.

Default Value/Selector Values
