The powerful
Search and Replace feature gives you several options for modifying your translation memory.
The
Search and Replace feature lets you view and edit your TM entries in the following ways.
- Specify a maximum number of hits, to restrict the number of results to be returned in the
Search and Replace result set.
- Make the search for whole words, so the search text will match only complete words, not subsets of the words.
- Make the search case-sensitive.
- Select the source and target languages to refine your search. If you do not select source and target languages, all languages will be returned.
- Specify the TM entry
Status on which to filter. In the normal TM mode, you can select
All (the default),
Locked, or
Unlocked.
If you are in "Live" TM mode, you also can select
Pending Review,
Reviewed, or
Rejected. See the "Live Translation Memory Mode" topic for more information.
- Apply attribute filters during the search.
- See the source segments for the target segments found in the search.
- Use the hyperlink around the source text of the TM entries in the search result set to access the TM entry record for each entry in the result.
