You can choose not to extract the content of cells formatted with a certain color by selecting the Skip cells formatted with selected color check box, and then selecting the color.
You can also choose not to extract the content of certain columns by selecting the Skip selected columns check box. Then, click Add Column, type the name of the column that you want to exclude from translation and click OK.
The list of QuickInsert items does not include the standard (default) QuickInsert items, so initially it is an empty list.
For example, if the target language is Chinese (Taiwan), you might want to specify that the PMingLiu font is used for all text in the target document, regardless of the fonts used in the source document. If so, map all source language fonts to PMingLiu for Chinese (Taiwan).
By default, most target languages in this dialog box have only one font and for each language all source fonts are mapped to one font.

Tag Type |
|
Start Tag | A regular expression that identifies embedded content and converts each occurrence of such content into a placeholder tag. For example, to convert all HTML <br> (line break) tags into placeholder tags, type <br.*?> |
Ignore case | Select this check box if you do not want the letter case of your defined tags to be taken into consideration when the embedded content is identified. |
Translate | Not translatable means that the content between the tag pairs is displayed to the translator as locked content. Text within tag pairs can be translatable or non translatable. Placeholder tags are not translatable. |
Formatting | If available, click Edit to modify the way in which the embedded content is displayed. |
Field | Description |

Inside text the tag acts as a word end | Use this option to change the behavior of cursor placement. When you select it, the editor treats the tag as a word for the purposes of navigation. For example, in the editor, pressing Ctrl+Left Arrow moves the cursor to the beginning of the tag and Ctrl+Right Arrow moves the cursor to the end of the tag. |
Text lines can be wrapped after the tag | Selecting this check box indicates that a line break after this tag does not indicate the end of a segment. For example:
Gather ye rosebuds while ye may, <br> Old Time is still a-flying: <br> |
Tags represent formatting only and can be hidden in the editor | When you select this check box, text is formatted correctly and the standard formatting tags (for example, bold, italic, and font type) are not displayed. Selecting this option does not mean that the tag is always hidden; the user can change the editor settings to make the tag to be displayed. |
Tags represent the text | Placeholder (standalone) tags only. A tag can have a text equivalent. For example, the entity tag " has the text equivalent ". |
Segmentation hint | A segmentation hint is a property of a tag that helps the program to segment the asset better when converting the asset to a translatable format: whether to position the tag within a segment or outside of the segment or to force a segmentation break.
