Editing an asset externally

WorldServer allows you to work with well-known document editors, while keeping the content itself fully integrated with the WorldServer translation management process. As a part of workflows and projects, or separately, you can choose assets managed by WorldServer, then launch the asset in an external application for editing.

1. In the WorldServer Explorer, navigate to a folder that contains the asset you want.
2. Select the asset, for example, Styles.docx.
3. Click Edit > in External Editor in the Explorer or Edit/Translate > in External Editor in the Task list.
