Deleting a Custom Component

You cannot delete components that are included in a default WorldServer installation. You can delete only custom components that were uploaded subsequently.

  1. In Management > Administration > Customization, select the appropriate custom component type.
  2. Select the component to delete and click Delete.
  3. Click OK to confirm.
Note: You cannot delete an automatic action if it is used in an existing workflow. WorldServer issues a message when an automatic action cannot be deleted, telling you which workflow is affected. If the workflow contains the suffix [Copy], then it is actually an invisible underlying workflow that will be cleaned up when the garbage collection routine runs. To delete a custom automatic action, first remove it from any workflows that use it (or delete the workflows). Then, if WorldServer still does not let you delete the automatic action, wait for the nightly garbage collection routine to run and try again the next day.
