You can search translation memories not only to find text in the source and target translation memory entries, but also to use the returned result set as a basis for exporting or deleting entries.
The
Search feature on the
page allows you to do the following:
- Find text in the source or target translation memory entries.
- Perform multiple criteria search and save it for later use
- See a match score for every hit, expressing the resemblance of the lookup text to the entire segment in which it is found.
- See, at the top of the result set, the total number of entries with matches.
- Use the result set to perform Exports and Deletes.
- See the source and target segments for each entry found in the search.
- Search in several modes:
Standard,
Segment Leverage, and
Concordance. You can also—using the
Advanced link—perform
Freeform SQL searches.
- Specify a maximum number of hits to return.
- Specify a minimum score which a match must have to be included in the result set. The default is
0%, meaning all matches, whatever the score, will be returned.
- In
Standard mode, match the complete term (or not) and make the search case-sensitive (or not).
- In
Standard or
Segment Leverage mode, filter on the status of the entries.
- You can—using the
Advanced link—apply attribute filters during the search.
- Use the hyperlink around the source text of the TM entries in the search result set to access the TM entry record for each entry in the result.
