Searching assets

In the WorldServer Explorer, you can search assets for a particular word or phrase. To use search, the assets must be stored in a repository whose connector supports the search function. Note also that the Search function in the WorldServer Explorer supports text files but does not locate text contained in binary files generated by Microsoft Office, QuarkXPress or other applications.

1. In the WorldServer Explorer, select the folder or group of assets in which to search.
2. Choose Edit > Find.
3. Select the Search option.
4. Type the word or phrase to find.
5. Optionally, choose whether the search is case-sensitive.
6. Type in the maximum number of results to view for this instance of the search.
7. Click Search.
