Adding Segment Identifiers (SID) for a new rule

When configuring the Custom XML (Embedded Content Processor) File Type, you can add segment identifiers (SID). You can only add segment identifiers to rules with structure tags that have a context.

  1. Go to Management > Linguistic Tool Setup > File Types.
  2. Expand the Custom XML (Embedded Content Processor) Studio File Type tree and click a configuration.
  3. Under Select settings page, click Parser, and then click Add.
  4. In the Add Rule dialog box, enter a name in the Element box, and then select structure from the Tag type list.
  5. Next to Structure info, click Edit.
  6. In the Structure Information Properties dialog box, add new structure information properties, and then click OK.
  7. When finished, in the Add Rule dialog box, click OK.
  8. Save the configuration.
  9. Re-open the configuration in the Custom XML (Embedded Content Processor) Studio File Type tree.
  10. Under Select settings page, click the SID settings tab and select the rule you created.
  11. In the SID Attribute box, enter the name of the attribute from where the SID value should be retrieved, and then click Update.

Adding Segment Identifiers (SID) for an existing rule

  1. Go to Management > Linguistic Tool Setup > File Types.
  2. Expand the Custom XML (Embedded Content Processor) Studio File Type tree and click a configuration.
  3. Under Select settings page, click the SID settings tab and select one of the available tag rules. You can select only rules with structure tags that have a context.
  4. In the SID Attribute box, enter the name of the attribute from where the SID value should be retrieved, and then click Update.
  5. Save the configuration.
