The following MultiTerm 5 import procedures should be modified as appropriate for your environment.

Launch MultiTerm and import the ZIP file.

In MultiTerm, choose

In the
Index Fields column, enter the appropriate source and target locales exactly as they appear in WorldServer. If you need to add an index field (a locale), click
Add and type the locale in the
Field Name box.

In the
Text Fields column, enter the names of all WorldServer term attributes.

Click
OK.

Type a name for the new termbase and click
Save.

Back in the MultiTerm main page, choose
to open the
Import Options dialog box.

From the
When entry matches filter drop-down menu in Step 3 of the
Import Options screen, select
Synchronize on index field. If you have set a filter, select the option you want from the
When entry does not match filter drop-down menu.

When you select
Synchronize on index field in Step 3 of the
Import Options screen, the options under Step 5 of that screen become active. In the
Synchronize on Index drop-down, select the language that MultiTerm should use as the basis for its duplicate recognition here.

From the
When termbase entry matches filter drop-down menu, select
Combine with termbase entry. This means that when MultiTerm finds a duplicate in an import entry, it combines it with the corresponding termbase entry.

Click
OK to confirm and exit the
Import Options dialog box.

Select the file that was extracted from the exported ZIP file from WorldServer and click
Open.

Optionally, click
Yes to create a log file for the import.
You have now imported the WorldServer terminology database information for use in MultiTerm 5.
