Exporting a Translation Memory

You can export an entire Translation Memory (TM) database (optionally applying an attribute filter), or you can perform a query-based export of entries found in a TM search result set. The query-based export can further refine the result set selections it is exporting by applying attribute filters.

When you export TM entries, the log indicates the number of TM matches. This is the number of records contained in the TM that were processed on export. If you apply a filter that excludes some (or even all) records, the number of TM matches processed will not change. When exporting multiple TMs, individual TMX files are created for each TM in the TM Group.
Note: The number of records in a created TMX file therefore may not match the number of TM matches in the log.
