Deleting TD Entries or Terms

You delete entries and terms from a search result set of the Term Database: <TD> page. You must have permission to change the TD first.

  1. Search the TD to obtain a result set that has the entries or terms you wish to delete.
  2. To delete entries, you have two delete options. Choose one or the other.
    1. Delete selected entries from the result set.
      • Use the checkboxes to select the entries you want to delete, then click Delete Selected.
      • Click OK to confirm on the Term Database - Delete Entries dialog.
    2. Delete the entire result set.
      • Click Delete Result Set to remove every entry in the result set.
      • Click OK to confirm on a different Term Database - Delete Entries dialog.
  3. To delete terms from entries, follow these steps.
    1. Select the term name you wish to delete from any column of the entry. The View Term - <Term name> dialog appears
    2. Click Delete.
    3. Review the term history in the Term Database - Delete Term dialog.
    4. Click OK to confirm.
