-
In the Linkage Editor, select the source locale from the
Source Locale drop-down menu on the left side of the Editor.
-
Select the target locale from the
Target Locale drop-down menu on the right side of the Editor.
-
On the left side, navigate to and select the top level of your source folders and assets. The folder or asset must be highlighted (not grayed out). If it is not highlighted, the locale was not set up correctly.
Tip: For a given pair of locales, you do not need to link every source folder and asset with every target folder and asset. Only link the top-level folder of the source locale to the top-level folder of the target locale. All folders and assets under this top-level folder will inherit this linkage.
-
On the right side, navigate to and select the top level of your target folders and assets. The folder or asset must be highlighted (not grayed out). If it is not highlighted, the locale was not set up correctly.
-
Create a link by dragging a line from the highlighted source folder to the highlighted target folder.
-
Repeat this procedure for every source and target you want to link.
-
Save your linkage.
-
Close the Linkage Editor.
Note: When users disable a link in the Linkage Editor, the color of the related text in the
"Target Folders and Assets" table in the Linkage screen changes to red.
